When you or one of your clients decides to cancel your Alli AI subscription, you need to ensure that the correct steps are taken to off-board from our AI Visibility Engine feature. If the off-boarding is done incorrectly or not at all, it will lead to downtime for the affected website.
Here are the steps to off-board a website from the AI Visibility Engine:
Step 1
Go to Site Settings > AI Visibility Engine and toggle off the AI Visibility feature
Save Changes
Step 2
Go to AI Visibility Engine >Linked Domains and click the domain
Go to the domain DNS settings and copy them to their new DNS hosting provider
Step 3
Switch the nameservers to those provided by their new DNS provider. The user's most important part is to ensure their DNS settings are in sync with their new DNS provider. Changing the nameservers should be the last step.
Now that your site is off-boarded from the AI Visibility Engine, it is now safe to delete the site from your dashboard
