AI Visibility Engine Edge Integration using Cloudflare workers

To integrate the AI Visibility Engine using the Edge Integration method, navigate to the site you want to integrate with.

Go to Site Settings

Go to AI Visibility Engine and toggle on Submit an Application for AI Visibility Engine Optimization and Save Changes

Once your website is approved for the AI Visibility Engine, you will receive a notification email and see more options on your AI Visibility Engine tab.

Enable AI Visibility Engine, Redirect, and Save Changes

Go to AI Visibility Engine in Account Settings and click Linked Domains

Click the three dots next to the domain you want to integrate.

Click Details

Select Edge Integration:

Copy the TXT verification record values.

Log into your website and add the TXT to your DNS records and save.

On your Alli AI dashboard, click next to verify.

Once the verification was successful, you will get the Cloudflare Edge Integration configuration instructions.

Go to your Cloudflare account, log in, add your domain.

Click Continue.

In the search field, type “worker” and click “Create Worker”

Choose “Start with Hello World”

Here you can click edit and delete the current script.

Go to your Alli AI dashboard and copy the script template and paste it in your worker field and add the Access Token proved by Alli AI above.

Deploy the worker on Cloudflare

Once deployed, go to the search field and type “worker” and click “Workers Routes”

Click “Add Routes”

Enter your domain as stated in the example below, choose the worker you just created and click “Save”

The created Workers Routes will be listed below

You can now update your website’s name servers to point to the once Cloudlare provide. If your DNS records are already hosted by Cloudflare then you don’t need to update them.

Once your nameservers are pointing to Cloudflare, ensure that Cloudflare is not blocking any bots.

Now we need to go back to Cloudflare to whitelist Alli AI's IP addresses.

Go to security rules.

Create rule

Name the rule something like "Alli AI Viz"

In the dropdown field, select "IP Source Address."

Operator, "Is in list"

Click Manage lists

Click Create list

Name the list "alliaiviz"

Select type "IP"

Create list

Add the seven IP addresses from Alli AI to the list

Save the list.

Congratulations! Your website is now successfully integrated with the AI Visibility Engine.
